Practical Applications of Blood Evaluation by Dark Field Microscopy:
Dark Field Microscopy
Among the biological assessment techniques, we highlight Dark Field Microscopy (DBM), which consists of a qualitative assessment of live blood, made possible by a special powerful microscope (magnification up to 1000x) for direct observation of blood cells (red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets) and plasma components such as proteins, fibrin, toxins and crystals.
Due to the angle of incidence of the light beam on the sample to be observed, the background appears dark and the elements of the sample appear bright. It's like a dark room with a small beam of light passing through the keyhole, which illuminates the dust particles floating in the air. What was initially invisible becomes visible.
Its main advantage is the possibility of observing the sample in real time and in vivo, clearly, without the need to fix and stain the cells. It is therefore a faster and simpler technique.
It allows health professionals to directly and biologically assess cell function, immune capacity, the level of oxidation and toxins in the blood and some nutritional deficiencies, with the aim of knowing the patient's state of health.
Blood assessment by MCE is a well-accepted and well-founded tool. The study of the physiology and morphology of blood cells and other blood elements is fundamental to understanding the onset, cause and progression of diseases.
